I have had a sad life. Does anyone else have a sad life? You can share your sad life, if you want I’m just curious is all. You don’t have to haha. Does anyone want to know my sad life? Haha~
So I have a bunch of ice cream in the fridge but I have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to it! Now I don't have any condition that makes walking down the stairs difficult other than laziness, and the ice cream doesn't just come up by itself!
A sad life is still a life. I have no life. I live yet I am dead. I'm being figurative here, don't take it literally.
I have the best life. It's the fricken bomb! I feel bad for the rest of you, knowing that you won't know what it's like to live my life. Too bad, hope you'll feel a modicum of how great my life is so you don't make self-deprecating statements, and threads about how bad you have it.
But isn't life is sad in general? I once had a huge collection of antique/ancients clothing, and some of them was passed down from my grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-great grandparents that took years of collecting. Some of them would fetch a huge sum at auctions. Only to go home one day to found that everything has been sold at a measly amounts of 10$ for a bundle... Ma : "aih, what is the use of those old shabby clothing, hah? You've never wear them anyway!" ...My sad laife ...
I'm not sure which hurts more, the fact you feel dead inside, or that you keep smiling so you dont drag others down with you.
A sad event or a sad life. Or a life with sad events becomes the sad life. Is being sad a taught emotion or is it inherent from birth? Are we just wired, compelled to such feeling? How do I know I'm sad? How do I feel sad if I dont know what to feel when things happen.
Guess there's a difference between having a sad life and being sad about the life you have. Some people would be perfectly happy working a 7 to 5 job doing the exactly the same thing every day, while others find it monotonous torture. Does that mean the first person leads a sad life or the second sad because of the life they lead? I think it's more about the persons perception of their surroundings, their actions taken in there life, and reactions of those around the person that determine whether one leads a sad life.
