But I like thier art anyways. I haven’t been reading doujins since Sep 2018.... I’ve mainly been reading fanfics and originals on AO3.
No it's not. Yaoi refers to relationships strictly between male characters. Futanari don't even look male besides their genitalia (and in many Futanari series, they do not have balls, so there's differences there too). Futanari relationships are definitely entirely separate from other subgenres of hentai and have their own tropes, cliches, and subcategories distinctly different from these other subcategories. I probably am already familiar with the artist, but, out of curiosity, which one are you talking about?
