    ... Or they just skipped AC 2, Revelations, and Brotherhood, and instead only play the more recent ACs.

    TBH, i've only played the recent AC games so my view is kinda narrow but i've also played a bit on 2 and knowing Ezio's background and character, i know the reason why the best Char in the whole series is him...

    From start, he's more of an asshole towards his development until the end. Like, out of the chars in the series, he's the most developed one.

    I liked Altair more tbh, but that's probably because I like the 1st game a lot more than the 3 games with Ezio.

    I kinda dropped the series after Revelations, so I only know those 2 btw, but my favorite is Altair.

    You should A) replay them again and realize how totally mistaken you were and that ezio is actually your favorite,
    and B) play the later games. Seriously. You're just missing out.

    I mean Desmond's story ends on a depressing note and the modern-day aspect takes a backseat from AC 3 on, which is sad, but the assassin/templar gameplay just gets better as it goes. With the exception of maybe Unity (which I haven't played) every game is a step up. If you stop at literally the first few, you're missing a great series of games.
