So I was asked the question, out of all the medium, why do you like anime? For context, we were doing an Avatar, The Last Airbender marathon (I know it's not an anime and we didn't finish). I don't know really. I just enjoy the stories it tells and how I'm about to get so excited about the personal stories and struggles of a person. It let's me be entrance in things I could never be so excited about in real life. For example, Hinomaru Sumo is a sport anime about sumo wrestling and I loved even though I don't really like sports. I couldn't really answer the question because I took a break from anime but recently, I've been trying new shows and it never fall to amaze me how I get so into these stories. So why do you like anime?
almost every time I watch some anime I just end up thinking that it's worse than the manga and/or novel
Because its great, the plots, the twists... The ACTION Spoiler: 10/10 Best anime On a side note, its basically reading a book without having to use energy on imagination. Especially if it was based on a novel or manga/comic.
I normally just read but if there is an anime I want to watch I'll either binge it or watch an episode every now and then.
some anime give me some heart pounding moments like the first episode of attack on titans already stop watching for 3years only reading novels
Because sometimes it's tiring to imagine how everything would look like. It's better to make someone else do the imagining and hope it's not done badly.
I like anime for the stories you can tell. Even with CGI in movies you can never have as much control like you can get in anime.
Because it tells a story that is ineteresting and you are liken to continue watching unless you lose interest or until you realize that reading tells the story better most of the time. Anime is just probably the easiest to be engaged with.
Stopped watching anime and reading manga after getting addicted to light novels. I watch 1 series after ever season and the last anime i actively followed was one punch man
It can be an action orientated animated program that's not made for kids show it ends up with very mature that appeals to people that like that sort or thing. And the echi moments are cool too.
I choose everyday. There are two series I watch a week. I also watch next season anime’s. Or most importantly when I have a break between novels and I needs something different to do. I sometimes look into new anime or if nothing’s good. I beng on old anime’s.
i would watch more anime but i want to watch original anime, not an adaption of a LN/WN, or an adaption of a manga. sure its nice seeing it in action but lose the wonder and suspicion of something new is going to happen since i already know whats going to happen.
