why are some tags censored?

    I was just lazing around through <Tag> and found three words that seemed to be censored.
    The three words being "Sex" and "Slaves" and "Rape"
    I was wondering why these 3 are censored when other tags ie. cuunilingus(idfk), paizuri(idfk) and lots of other "sex" related words in tags seem to be fine.
    Is there a Phobic moderator that did this lol?

    My guess is some people, and/or groups, complained about things to some businesses with the power to change stuff. Those businesses haphazardly did some things to try and get those people to shut up, and leave them alone. Now we all have to live with the consequences.

    Yeah f*ck those people in power. Now I can barely read my favorite NU tags after they put some asterisk in it, I hate this consequences.

    A novel I like has a character with the name Dick and his name was censored in the synopsis... RIP Dick D*ck :blobpensive:

    Advertisers man... they don't want their ads to be linked to those tags...
