Reading R-18 makes it easier to explore what kind of sexual fantasies I might have without having to think of icky stuff. Like, real ppl porn would include thinking about consent, camera angles, acting quality, etc. Basically what a lot of people are mentioning, having the mental space to imagine the scenario in a context I'm comfortable in is great! and convenient.
