Discussion Why does every guy have porn in their room?

Just research safely online and then delete history, downloading is too risky. What if someone looks trough your computer or usbs/dvds, also what if your computer crashes and you want to save important documents so you carry it to repair shop and they find your research.
The more you research the kinkier it gets, you really don't want anyone finding it.

But what you're seeing in manga and anime is about the 80's and 90's, no one buys magazines and cd's anymore so no hiding them under the bed.

 

I'm personally glad I don't have it anywhere honestly : P

Some guys don't, but a lot of guys do. For me, it's a feeling of "I don't want to forget about this" atm more than anything. People nowdays might feel like things will always be accessible online, but I've lost too many hosting sites over the years to truly soley rely on the internet. It's true there's SOMEONE out there that might still have it, but it's a pain in the ass to find for a lot of older more obscure stuff.

I've collected pictures, videos, stories, etc. pretty much since my adolesence. I've also lost most of my collections over time for various reasons. I've also shifted what I collect multiple times : for example, I hardly collect any VNs atm, when I used to just blindly collect everything for the sake of sifting through it later and weeding out stuff I don't like.

Maybe a part of why i'm a bit more attached is because the main porn everyone else assumes we're talking about is the type of porn I consume and care about the least : irl video format porn. Because their taste is mainstream, everything they enjoy can easily be accessed online. They can even just describe a few scenes and someone from the internet will give them names to google.

On the other hand, a lot of stuff I enjoy has only started to become popular and mainstream in the past decade or so. Nowadays we have h-games on steam of all places (and both VN format as well as RPGMaker format at that). Stuff I used to have to download a million different programs to get it to run and have it machine translated are now being fan translated enmass. It's a golden age in a sense for me and people who enjoy the types of porn I enjoy, but I still remember the insecurity and instability of the past.

 

I want to see the room of the GIRL i saw today. When i came home from my tattoo session i saw a pink haired girl on the bus, with a black custom face mask with "hentai" written on it with big white letters. That room has treasures in it i say.

 

Nah, most guys just watch pornhub or read hentai on exhentai, so they don't download anything. Still, you probably can find a flashlight in some single guys' rooms, lol.

I don't think anyone stores it non-digital these days. Most of the LN and manga artists are old. Even the whole math folder thing is silly cause the only person who won't click on that is a friend. A parent might want to see your math homework and well...

The modern way to store is removable hard drive that is double encrypted. How it works is this, you put 2 passwords on a single encrypted hard drive. If you type 1 password, the content is shown, if you type another password, the hidden content is shown. Of course you can take it a step further and that if 1 password or 3rd password is typed, the content on your hidden storage is wiped.

So no, not everyone has it hidden somewhere, that is simply a hd with cat videos downloaded from youtube!

 

i dont... after all i rarely access it and if i can access it why would i bother storing it? *confused face.jpg* i don't know anyone irl that has p*rn mags but they do have it on their gadgets and stuff..

 

Oh, that reminds me of the time when I was still a student and I forgot my portable hard disk filled with hundreds of hours of Japanese porn at a printing shop.
