Question Why has lord of the mysteries stopped updating?

    it suddenly stopped at 1359 on the usual website i read novel on.

    dunno what site you are reading it on

    usual reasons :

    translation up to date (not the case)
    no raws
    got licenced
    translator quit/went missing
    group on hiatus
    legal issues if its no official site

    it's not just lord of mysteries a bunch of other novel aren't being updated in other sites, but are getting updates on webnovels it's started 3 days ago. even some originals aren't getting updated on other sites and still getting updated on web novel. I have no clue why, but everyone who reads on an aggregator site is experiencing the same thing.

    aggregator sites bought the privileged chapters to a few novels at the beginning of the month, so they might be slowing/stopping the releases for a while because the privilege is ending soon. I believe novels that didn't have privileged chapters are still being updated regularly.

    Or maybe.webnovel has upgraded to stop the bots from auto copy?(if this happens to all priracy sites)

    Maybe i should start reading now... before the got shut down.

    That's what I heard but it's kinda weird that they only stopped bots from privileged chapters but idk. I really should start re-reading, decided to stack up chapters late last year and haven't touched it since. One of the qidian novels

    Well, it doesn't really matter, you're 40 chapters from the end and nothing amazing happens. The last few chapters just prepare the groundwork for the author's next books that have yet to be written.
