I would always attempt to fight better equipped players and kill them in any way possible to take or break their equipment, even if it took many respawns. Other than that, I would usually buy random items instead of getting the next tier of equipment, even when I really needed the next tier.

Edit: Also by being a dirty backstabber in games.
Friend goes afk in a battle royale? I would shoot him in the head and blame the other players.

    • Cheesing poorly thought out (on the dev's end) mechanics. Not only does it make you feel smart, it feels like revenge.
    • Developing speedrun strats even though I will never speedrun the game.
    • Using the minimum required effort for large puzzles that were designed to be annoying. (Half Life 2, the physics sea-saw puzzle with the cinderblocks... Why collect a dozen bricks, when I can just jam a barrel at the fulcrum? [Please note, I don't know if that still works])
    • Exploring areas, even when things are "urgent", yet not urgent enough to give me a timer. Sorry Uncle Ben, this bulletproof vest delivery will have to wait while I check out this alley, looks like important shit is hidden in here.
    • Drawing on walls with bulletholes.
    • Being frugal with my grenades. And by that, I mean seeing how many enemies I can kill at once.
    • Trying to set up the longest explosive chain reaction.
    • Using said longest chain reaction to kill a guy.

I think the reason they try to stop it is to avoid having a group of players collaberating to do it. What one individual can do is limited. I can't remember the game I did it on, but I do remember it was a cheap item that had a cap to how many you could get from the game per day. For me, it still only lasted 3 days before they stabalized again. (not counting the 2 days I spent buying)

I know that some people use them while others don't or make a challenge out of it. I max them out in the shops as soon as I can and then let them rot in my inventory

Written a script on Skyrim so that everytime a person takes my custom made sword (which the script is located), the script would fire, they would be inflicted with Rage... the chaos is overwhelming... Killing anybody without any repercussion whatsoever...

Hoarding stuffs, leveling basic gear to max level ( basically wasting money even when i'm broke ) and keeping it in storage rather than throwing it, etc.

But my main one is prob finding glitched places on the main city that allows you to stand where you shouldn't be able to, found this in many games and monopolized that place xD
    Edit:
Nothing beats mastery spamming on League when you somehow survived 4v1 ganks

Going around leveling areas in MMORPG and force-buff the mobs so they'd be x20 times deadlier for the next 20 minutes, sit back and enjoy the show as people go level, die and drop gear.

Guilty pleasure is to game the system to get the most advantages in single player games and steam roll through most things. Like in a game where there is stats would min-max and use bugs to roll over the npc foot soldiers.

Grinding to such a high level in a low level zone that I can literally one-shot everything. Then going to the next zone and grinding it again until I can one-shot everything again. Rinse repeat until the end of the game.
Depending on the game grinding can be really fun.
