Why no 'Series Ranking' by actual rating

    I was wondering why that was not an option? It seems the most logical. People rate it, the rating is saved somewhere, why not use it. It probably is just a simple SQL query.

    Can you explain it more, because if you mean advanced searches by their ratings or rank, then you can already do it. Except trying to search by rating doesn't really work well cuz i think it goes by which series has the highest star and so a novel that has a 5 star is gonna be first instead of a novel such as coiling dragon because its not 5 stars.

    Because if you sort novels only by rating there will be novel with like 5 rating, 3 votes and 10 readers total at the first place. It is not objective at all.

    Because new novels normally start at 5 ratings, so if we do what you just said, then only new novels with 1 or 2 chapters will be at the top.

    You'd need some sort of algorithm that weighs more on the amount of reviews and the rating rather than just the rating alone to prevent stories with one rating of 5 stars being at the top.

    How is series ranking calculated? Is it just number of people with novel in their reading list, pageview count or something else? Because to me ranking == some algoritm which takes into account number of readers, amount of ratings and rating itself. And if you want rating in 30 days, 2 months etc. it would need even more.
