Discussion why the arguments and hate against harems goes against everything history tells us

In first place cheating and polygamy it's two big different things. For most of people that cheating, it's simple because how "good" cheating to them. In polygamy case it's simple like you ask your wife to allow you go to prostitute or lover. Even in polygamy will be cheating, they are not the same.

I agree, relationships are a matter of consent, agreement, and commitment. Polygamy is just a collective agreement to the multiple (existing and added) individuals involved that there is/are another(s) that the individuals are allowed to commit to. Breaking that trust, commitment, and agreement (cheating) is still wrong. It’s just that in a polygamous relationship there’s more people/agreements.

 

Wait, . You can’t say they are the same but then say that there’s a difference. The consent is the difference. The important and life-changing difference.

I don't want to go on personal field, i'm sorry for my next words and i hope it will never happens but, when your wife or girlfriend cheat on you, you will see the difference. If you can't see it right now, so be it.

Excuse his behavior. I think he just didn’t see those posts. He’s just strong about matters of love and got caught up in his emotions leading him/to misinterpret and misunderstand your logical, realistic, historical, and objective perspective on the aspects of polygamy, marriage, and human relationship as something personal.

Edit: I feel that happens to me a lot when I talk about things from a logical, practical, objective, scientific, etc. appoach due to my lack of social skills.

I would really like to see the studies that show 17 wives to be the norm among nobility, as this part seem like bullshit to me.
