Why would you buy a 2-in-1 convertible gaming laptop?

Why, in the name of Odin's beard, you'd slap a convertible-to-tablet gimmick on a gaming laptop that essentially close to a desktop replacement, Acer?

 

gaming laptops on my opinion can't be better than gaming pc.

 

I want it. Why? Because I have money..

 

the product mentioned here is stupid as fuck but laptop for gaming actually has valid reasons for existing. Many people have to travel a lot for work and other purposes and u really can't expect them to carry around their pc lol. gaming laptops are mainly targeted towards that sector. my friends brother has both for this reason. he only uses the laptop during travel otherwise he has a gaming pc at home.

 

Like me for example. And another reason is to hide it from your wives.

 

Laptop gaming are only for those gamers who traveled a lot and doesn't have a time to play games on their home.
If only it was cheaper, I would buy it cuz I'm rarely at home (only 2 days a week). I'm not playing PC games recently, so it's a waste of money.
Just buy PC if you want it for gaming, it's more easier to upgrade

 

"all in one" anything usually means "does a crap job at a lot of things" Just get one or the other and save yourself the pain.

 

gaming laptop usually just means high spec and a business laptop usually means stripped down to bare spec to run basic functions.

 

I heard that some people uses these high end laptops as demonstrations for VR, i.e. business reasons.

Hard to imagine normal people buying these purely for gaming, but then again, these aren't meant for normal people.

 

Bait, why would anyone buy a tablet, it's a useless toy.

It seems like a proof of concept sort of thing... If there were more product to its line in the future, I'd consider buying it.

 

only have one married friend so far and he only plays fifa (the friend's brother in the example is single as well) so i forgot about this one lol

 

the laptop i currently use is a local made gaming laptop that released 10 years ago, ddr2 C2D T9400 VGA nvidia geForce 9600m GT 256mb. kinda hard to open some new programs such as PS, Corel, adove, bluestack, dota2, disqus, whatsapp pc, line pc, etc. despite a gaming/visual grafis notebook version....
at same time acer releases a ddr3 i3 wit compitable prices 7-800 US$(1US$ = 10.000 IDR).
