News Wiki For All Novels

In a bid to bring about consistency in the translations, I have created wiki for some novels and I am looking for create them for all other novels.
Important: Based on feedback I have received, I will create a user account that anyone can use to create and edit content.

Novels like Duke's Daughter and Akuya(Eliza) that have an already established glossary by the author would be the easiest to create a wiki for.

I kinda think that Wikias (Fandom) are way easier, in yours you even have to be registered to do anything and looks a bit confusing. Your motive to host one yourself is to become more popular or something like that? Wikias are more easy to handle (Be it edits, design of the wikia, etc, easy.), if you don't know how, the community is big enough to ask something and get a complete answer in less than 1 hour.
Still, i'm reading The Lazy Sword Master, i'll help if I can. (But I will wait a bit for the site to be updated, it looks too weird right now).

I agree, fandom is better. I can go, click the big buttom of edit, put text and save, done. less than 5 mins if I know what I want to add. Infoboxes also helps.
Also, wikias are used by everyone. Anime, manga, etc.
Anyways, i'm not reading any of those novels above, but I wish you good luck, it still helps!!!!!

Have you seen WW's wiki? they have one but no one checks it. (well, I never put a foot on it xD)

 

I would argue that Wordpress is simpler to use.
I will most likely delete the forum part too of all the wikis and just keep it very simple.

I only follow one wiki (ATG) (the only novel i'm currently reading). You can PM Immortal Sovereign (God of Slaughter) or Nehaust (Against the Gods) or Neveravi (I Shall Seal the Heavens), they have good wikias, not sure but I think they can help.
Even though I don't read that novel, God of Slaughter's wikia is beautiful.

 

It's not hard to do the same for WordPress. There is an actual wiki plugin even. I just felt that it would be too complicated.
Information is all I need.
I can just install standard wikipedia software.
Fandom is customized software, so I can't get that but it will be impossible for me to fix any issues.
I don't even know how to make a menu on mediawiki software...it's looking like a bad idea haha
And I was considering a poll to choose between mediawiki software and WordPress.
I will make a compromise : I will get a front end editing plugin so editing works without the backend

I will be switching to using mediawiki software.
I have no idea how to use it and it will look like Wikipedia andave not Fandom(wikia) but it should be better than using WordPress.
I will leave management to someone who knows how to set things up.
