Question Will Reading MTLs Help me to Understand Japanese Sentence Structure?

    ...Exactly what the title says.
    I've tried reading MTLs before. It's pain.
    I'm trying to learn Japanese now though, and since Japanese sentence structure is different than English sentence structure, I'm wondering if reading MTLs will help me learn Japanese sentence structure.

    watch movies with subtitles, both japanese and english.

    start with anime. i know a lil japanese from watching it . u should also try watching some japanese shows that exactly fit ur novel/book ur reading so u can identify the words easily. and turn on the subtitles .
