it can be that your windows became corrupt it can happen for any number of reasons. I suggest you reformat your laptop before trying anything else.
Check if you have your headphones plug in if yes plug it out If no check Google I don't believe that it doesn't have millions of way to fix it. You don't want to spend time searching? Well good luck with wasting time on comment like this
right click my computer -> properties -> device manager -> select my computer -> action -> scan for hardware change. this worked for me when my laptop audio didn't work.
I did hear that there was problem with audio after some shitty windows 10 update. Try to google it. Or you can install win 7.)
That is definitely the correct way to treat a macbook Edit: as for actual advice, right click on your volume icon in the lower right of your taskbar, try the 'troubleshoot sound problems'. Is it limited to a game or everywhere?
i have that problem too with old pc and sh*tty windows 10 update restarting the pc can cure the symptom but not the sickness
That’s a waste could have put windows on that Mac like I did mine actually after I did that I showed it to my uncle who works for apple maintaining some servers he almost cried and said I had ruined it lol
If you used headphones around when that started, I'd say it's 90% due to your old laptop, windows 10 and headphones. You either have to somehow plug in your headphones and make your laptop think you removed them OR go to your audio and check your audio output devices and try to disable them until you find which one is the issue(usually headphones which shouldn't appear but do anyway) OR update your drivers If not, your audio hardware might have broken down, in which case tough luck. There are plenty of other reasons, but I usually run into one of those two with my devices.
