    Eh, I trashed my previous idea, which I wrote a bit on. But I have a decent idea of what I need to write now, and I'm sure it'd would be a much better story.

    I was going to post the first chapter to the new series I'm writing, but I don't think the intended serialized nature of the work will work for the short story format. So I think I'll be bowing out of this match.

    Plus, it would kind of be unsporting to post something I'm not writing specifically for this competition, as everyone else seems to be doing.

    And so, with that, I bid all a farewell. Though I do think it would have been written well enough, and the ending exciting enough to feel satisfying, but eh, I have already decided.
