    I dropped it around the time of the flashback to the formation of the team with the magician guy.

    it is popular enough to have a wikipedia page

    Experience tell me, the MC will follow the same path of this kind of novel:

    - she must be a "strong and independent woman with moral compass"
    - she must be "bullied at the beginning and whatever reason people will devote their lives for her even they just met, so basically she needn't to do anything"
    - she must be "willing to kill a thousand of human to save a kitty, because for her it is fighting for the greater good"

    Why can not she just be an average asshole and doing everything for her own gains, but occasionally does something good, so readers don't need to feel like a sociopath

    Have faith :blobangel:. I blame rush decision and milking that usually spoiled a good story. Wildbow sure taken time to finally start the sequel. I'm sure that this sequel will be another exciting journey. :blobicecreamlove:
