Discussion Worst novel title you're reading

Release That Witch gah what a lame and dumb title, not even relevant to the story past the first chapter

Imperial God Emperor so chunni, cringe, actually I'm not reading this anymore since I put it on hold to stack and just at that moment Wuxia Nations stole it with their horrible and unworthy translations, now it's on WuxiaWorld but even if it's a good xianxia, I don't feel like going back to it.
Edit: For the not so bright ones, I'm talking about the titles here, not the stories.

 

The by far worst story that I still read, and often am on the cusp of dropping would be Emperor's Domination, I only read it when I'm completely bored.

 

Why dont you try to make a thing. I bet I'll be much more like what you expect to be in the criticism

Those JP novels with long ass names that sometimes even contain multiple sentences.

 

I mean Emperor's Domination is the title though? Unless I don't get what you mean.

Edit: Oh now I get it, hmmm in that case propably Skyfire Avenue, sure the story is set there, and often returns there, but really it's about a lot of other things.

 

he thought you were talking about the story and i think ED describes the story well as LQ is the Emperor.

A manga has pointed out why LN's need to have bigger title, they were only being released Twice a Year, so it's understandable that you have to bait those audience to like it. So none so far since I don't really read those chinese xianxia with 'gods' in their title.

 

There was this one where some guy was reincarnated as panties.

I'm sure the title for that story is on the nets list of 13 things you'll never give a shit about.

It's a hard decision, between JP Ln long titles and CN novels chuuni/self-important titles...

 

starting from zero. the ML is literally too rich and DID NOT start from zero. He bought an island just for fun.

 

But it doesn't work, that trend will devour itself, it will kill its own appeal, a title you remember is one that resonates with you and the story, one that's just a long string of words, is one you will eventually forget.
