The WN is basically a barebones version of the LN. As the LN has new characters, more focus on other characters, and new plot lines. For example. In the LN

Ryouma's Cousin and Grandpa also get summoned. It's even revealed that this isn't the first time Grandpa has been to this world. Pointing that there is a way to somehow get back.

 

So the webnovel is now just full of teasers and bloat, to encourage people to buy the LN. Sounds like I'll be dropping the WN then as i just find it frustrating to read. guess it's good to know the LN should be slightly better. Though I doubt we'll have a translation(unofficial or otherwise) any time soon.

All these infodump chapters remind me of my 5yo lil sis when she's playing with her dolls

 

Light Novel has so much info dump that while it could be considered useful to others but not to ones that read the WebNovel. Doesn't help that they don't mark when the PoV changes and such.

 

so what happened to this series or the translator? No new update on the site since November.

These new chapter are such a disappointment. The author is clearly trying to drag on for more chp with no reason.
Hopefully it gets better after this arc

 

i think the translator said at some point the reason he caught up with the raws is the author couldnt think of where he wanted to go with the story, and these last bunch of chapters have really showed that to be true. a whole chapter of him walking to a room followed by what was basically 2 sentences made into an entire chapter. it sucks waiting for a new chapter but knowing it literally isnt going to progress anything, the last 10ish chapters could probably be made into 1 or 2 actual chapters instead of what they are

 

Oh don't worry. J-Novel Club has already caught up to volume 6. They are at part 6 of Volume 6... so it's caught up to the web novel perfectly.

 

That is nice but i dont think it is going to be better if author doesnt know what he is doing with the story

 

Honestly probably not... but the light novel is written slightly differently...

his grandpa and the childhood friend got brought to the new world some time after he did. Though honestly i quite enjoy volume 6.
Ryouma flaunting his power and connections, secret meetings and plotting behind the scenes... i like this better than simple hack and slash.
I do hope it all pays out though... like we can skip most noble parties from this point on

 

Ye the newest chp is just description of nobel with 1 sentence.
His family doesmt interest me that much unless they actually met.
