Discussion Would you be willing?

After skimming through a lot of the novels on this website, I’ve realized that there are a lot of gender bender novels as well as isekai novels [insert pikachu meme face], and there are actually a decent amount of isekai novels with the MC having his/her gender bent after going to the other world. So here’s my question:
Let’s say you are given the chance to go to an isekai world, but there’s a catch. You have to change your gender. And to make it a little easier, let’s say this is a nice and pleasant world that is really really fun with few chances of you ever suffering (unless you act like an idiot) and no random encounter with horny/muderous bandits (so guys, it’s ok you won’t get raped). Let’s also say you get decent strength in return for changing your gender as well. So would you be willing to go to this Isekai? Then if not, on what premise would you be willing to go (and no, genderless, becoming a monster, and futanari are not viable options here).

As long as its a medieval world, the answer would be no. It doesn't matter if its a peaceful world, the standard of living is going to obviously be lower, no internet and etc. It might sound fun to go for a month but you'll be home sick in no time.

If it is a futuristic world, then maybe. Even the gender swap won't matter cause if technology is high enough you can switch to w\e gender you want.

 

Question, why do no fantasy gender benders ever bring up the possibility of gender swap magic? Except Crazy Lich of course.

If there's all miracle magic on that side or if there's immortality that i can grasp within one lifetime on the other side i say why not. Gender can generally be fixed if one has the means or the time.

 

I'd be perfectly fine. Swapping from a guy to a girl would be hard to deal with due to the biological issues (probably more petite, shorter line of sight due to height, periods, etc.) but it isn't a massive issue. Go to a new world which is an isekai and all you need to do is change your sex? Sure!

Personally I think isekai and being able to change gender at will (like say Kampfer) is the best choice.

Look mate, if i ever got isekai-ed best chance imma spread my seeds as a rich village chief. Its hard to do that if i got gender bend.
So no, to me, even if in exchanged i was given the instant death skill(which is to me is the ultimate skill ever with the auto death curse function ), i would not accept the deal. I'd die from the raging fire slowly inside consuming me.
