Blowing glass looks so interesting I kinda want to try it someday would anyone else consider trying it?
I worked with ceramics in a lab once... you want to make sure that the professionals are well funded with safety equipment. Otherwise, you will quit just like me.
I would IF: i had the money for it, find a Good place where they let do that, that the place is near where i live AND that i can return in one piece. Where i live, going out is risking getting robbed 7/10 (chile)
I like watching, it's fascinating but even from a distance it's so hot! No way I could so it. Add lack of lung capacity.
Too dangerous for me, although it's certainly pretty cool. If I want to make something functional, can stick to doing stuff with clay, which is probably messier, but less risky.
I actually saw a person do this it's called homestead craft village there are all kinds of craft glassblowing was one of them it's open year round. There are blacksmith pottery wood works = making stuff out of wood mostly furniture weaving cooking spinning knitting all kinds of farming skill From what I know they also have classes that they offer too. I went for pottery I wanted to make my own mug cus they don't sell a mug that is to my taste. I wanted something big, but I hate how everything now has to have a design of some letter why can't I have a simple big black mug that is white inside. I did make a wine cup that changes colors like the one you see in anime it just changes from black to blue when it's cold and red when it's hot. I wish I could draw I would like to make something more intricate Spoiler: Like this
