Does anyone know if you can write in English on JJWXC? If yes, how? What procedure.

If no, does anyone know a website like JJWXC to write web novels on? (Not Wattpad or Tapread)

    Thank you.

PS - All suggestions will be accepted. Thanks.

    This is sad.
Being an web novel author is not easy.
Using the most popular platform is more detrimental than helpful.

You need to do your research. You are asking at the wrong place.
Contact successful web novel authors directly eg the ones on RoyalRoad or use tapas.io forum.
Maybe I will adapt your novel into a comic in the future
    Best of luck to you!

Dunno what you're smoking. If you want to be a successful webnovel author, step 1 is to write a halfway decent story. Step 2 is to post that shit on every platform available - including the "most popular platform", whichever that is - and begin the most glorious and terrible campaign of viral self-marketing the world has ever seen.

With services like Patreon allowing for unified monetization, the platform(s) you choose to post on are more another form of advertisement than anything else. Unless you sign on to something like Qidian's more restrictive platform, ofc.

Since the OP is asking about JJWXC... I suppose they might end up stuck in a contract with someone. In that case, let's wish them luck and hope their story is good enough to stand out. :sweating_profusely:

I think you need to get into more detail but I am just depressed by the news I have been hearing about webnovel industry from lezhin to SFACG and others.
I am willing to learn from you sensei :blobsalute:

If we're talking about Chinese platforms, I don't have much to say. Apart from the obvious repetition of "campaign of viral self-marketing", which I'm sure would be equally effective anywhere in the world, I really don't know how those websites are structured or how an author would go about trying to make their story stand out there. I suspect it involves less "writing a really good story" and more "catering to the current fad and audience" -- which might work well enough on this side of the world, too. Maybe even a bit of "hiring that 50 cent army to spam positive reviews" or something, who knows.

What news have you been hearing?

Well, the usual slave contracts and censorship lending leading to parts of stories getting deleted and resulting in forced hiatus by authors.
I still can believe there is still something like a 20 year contract these days

Mm, yeah. The contracts seem pretty bad, but the censorship makes them a thousand times worse. If the platform decides to censor your novel - which happens more than gov't censorship, from what I hear, as a measure of keeping the gov't off their backs - and your contract doesn't allow you to go anywhere else.... Well, you're screwed. Throw in some anti-disparagements as a big "fuck you" and maybe even a "we own any novels you write in the future as well", and you're looking for a new job.
