Question Wuxiaworld redirect?

So, about 5 min ago I was about to read BEM in my iPad when I was redirected to Google out of nowhere. Tried again, same thing. Tried reaching the chapter's link through NU to no avail. Tried other sites and only WW is redirecting me like that. Restarted the iPad, took my iPhone and, guess what? Redirected again. WTF is going on?

EDIT: When I say 'redirect', I mean automatically redirecting me to google without even clicking a link. 3 seconds after opening WW it is redirected to google.

 

It's how WW makes money, they spam you to death with ads.

 

Wuxiaworld is annoying af on iPad. Try using a diff browser and most of the problems will disappear. I always use Firefox focus if I have to read something on wuxiaworld.

 

Same here, what I do, but is annoying, is that when before it changes to google, pres de x next to the link bar

I just disable javascript

 

you can read chapters on the ipad? on mine, half way through reading a chapter the page crashes and is forced to reload only for it to happen again.

 

turn off javascript. I'd love to support them but they are sketchy beyond fuck with ads.
My mobile(new model) practically burns my hands off if I leave javascript on from all the shit running.

 

I don't really know now but i used to read with chrome and dolphin in ios

This happens to me sometimes too. It is not the connection. Should be related to Javascript and cookies. But it is not common.

Well I usually turn off java scripts and I carry it on me in case I get bored and I need something to read

 

I use chrome on my phone and turning off javascript to save battery.

it happened to me, redirected me to some site called gamesclub, later i got a sms saying ive subscribed to gamesclub.
billing me monthly and stuff.
note: i didnt touch anything when i was redirected, maybe back buttons and close, but nothing else in the screen

after unsubscribing, which i beleive cost money to send sms too,
going back to reading only to get redirected to same site again :/

 

that's why i use the app never ads to block all the spam when i read on there....
I don't mind ads, I'm glad to help a little. But when I can't read the story peacefully, I turn it on.

 

probably unrelated. how could it get your cell number just by visiting a site? that's movie hacker stuff.

 

I think it's related. Happens to me all the time when i visit some sites that are full of Ads especially sites that uses redirect ads.

 

When using WW to read anything on my cellphone I just load the texts, then turn off the wifi (so the adds and videos won't load)
Hope that helps since sometimes the google chrome app crashes because of those adds
