a. It was probably in Spring 1912 when a 33-year-old man told his 50-year-old or 51-year-old mom that he was considering quitting the industry that he was working in. Anna comforted her son and told him the following: "You have your back to the wall. You are looking before you. You cannot go backward. Move forward. You will find it that way all through life. Your past is the wall against which you stand. You cannot go backward. You must go forward."

b. That man was film producer William Fox (1/1/1879-5/8/1952). That mom was Anna Fox (1861-1925). I got the quote from p. 84 of a book called "The Man Who Made The Movies: The Meteoric Rise and Tragic Fall of William Fox". Excluding pre-releases, the book was released the Tuesday after Thanksgiving 2017. The author is a former magazine and newspaper journalist Vanda Krefft. This lady, an FB friend of mine, spent over a decade working on writing and preparing the book.
