Ah Zong Mian Xian 阿宗麵線 is also good, its a pig intestine vermicelli (tho i cant eat the pig intestine) it looks gooey but once you try, you'll want more...especially on cold days Yakisoba in Ximending Taipei (near too faced) Laksa noodle Pho.. Taiwan beef noodle too Hmmm.. Bakmi Jogja also good too Damn...too much
Ooooo lasagna's good if you use like 5 different types of cheeses, and my spaghetti has to have not only meatballs but also mushrooms, onions, and sliced sausages AT LEAST. Tortellini YES. Stuffed to the brim with cheese and meat. Yummy. Fettuccini is my favorite easy-to-make pasta. Ditto on these choices. Can't ever get enough of Pad Thai when you make it extra spicy. Oh, also I'm ALWAYS down for a steaming bowl of hot Phở on a cold winter's day: Spoiler
Same. Noodles in general ain't a thing here. But particularly the chicken chow mein is a rage here. They are sold from every food stall in the corner to high class restaurants... Probably because it suits Indian tastes the most lol I just came here to learn about them lol.
How could I forget about Pho, eating it while watching the snow fall is the best, haven't had any in a while since my friend stopped cooking due to universoty
It really is the best and ohhh that sounds quite lovely! That's a bummer that you haven't had one in a while. In the States, the major cities usually have decent Pho joints, and some have really good ones if you're lucky. Homemade's always best though haha. Just a lot of work. :blogdog:
and then you realize that most of India is vegetarian and as such the most noodle like thing you are gonna eat would be hakka / shezwan (ignore spelling) noodles or chinese bhel or something
How lucky... I can hardly find decent Vietnamese restaurant in my city I kinda missed eating pho... is it difficult or not making pho?
Depend if you got an Asian supermarket nearby with the ingredients and or not. Plus the beef broth tastes better the longer you cook the bones. Should at least aim for 1.5-3hrs, but most people I know just start the pot in the morning and serve it for dinner. A shame. Make your own! :blogdog:
