Discussion Your Favorite Swordsman ?

Whose your favorite character skilled in swords in any medium ? (novels, movie, cartoons, manga, etc.,).

I've gotta go with probably Mugen from Samurai Champloo. I thought he was a dope character with the hip-hop style to his swordsmanship. Another good one, is Kenshin.

 

Himura Kenshin gets my vote.
Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū is my favorite.

Also, the MC's style from To be a Power in the Shadows! feels exciting when I try to imagine it, esp. the use of "maai".

This dude was my childhood along with zoro and ichigo. But this guy is the best for me.

Dante from Devil May Cry.
The first hack and slash game I've ever played.
He's so damn edgy and cool. And he's got the most stylish swordsmanship ever, to the point that the games' combo system is based around how stylish you were while doing it.

 

Dugu Qiubai aka the "Loner Who Seeks Defeat" by Jin Yong.

 

Yang Guo, probably the second most famous swordsman in fiction (King Arthur being number one). He's not primarily known of as a swordsman, but he definitely qualifies as one, and I love the book he's in.

Does he even count as a character though? All we know about him are the four paragraphs he wrote, and what Yang Guo speculates he was like.

Didn't Yang Guo became strong thanks to the sword left by Dugu?His swordstyle is also inspired by him, right?
Many swordmaster from Jin Yong novels greatly improved after learning the nine sword of Dugu.
And in his time he had no equal, he was unmatched, peerless and invincible.

I like zoro, kenshin, and the like just fine.
But my absolute favorite has to be hands down, the man that was fitted into the role of sasaki kojiro from fate.
Sasaki didin't exist in that verse, but the swordsman who was used by the grail did. And he was able to literally break the laws of physics with pure swordsmanship skill alone. No magecraft or magic or anything. That's what I call badass. Okita's okay too I gues.
