The Grand Duke seems possessive and obsessed over the FL, though she, on the other hand, seems to be terrified of him. And the latest chapter (chapter 6) said that they were engaged by the FL's father? Is Enoch Roark the Grand Duke?

I thought both characters came to an unspoken contract. He says all that garbage because he knows that she is going to accept it and it turns her on. So far it does seems so. Some people might enjoy it. I would like the more fluffy kind of romance, not where someone needs to talk trash/dirty to fuel the desires. But apart from the bedroom acts, I’m still hoping for at least a decent interesting plot. Not much of interesting pointer/questions/mystery though, apart from the question, how did the Duke became the way he is. From the earlier chapters, the descriptions of him sounds like, he’s a meek docile kind of person, until he was kicked to the military camp. I wonder how did he became ruthless arrogant strong character. And I’m hoping also for the emperor to grow her backbone and able to retaliate to his “harassment”. Even the palace maids pay no heeds to her. It’s rather pitiful. It would’ve been more interesting if she chose to die at the beginning but failed to do so because he prevented her (I imagined he didn’t actually want her to die or something) but that would require a strong character which she is no unfortunately, at least not yet I hope.

But when the King died, her brother inherited, and he kicked him/duke to the military. He forces her to get married with a man 50 years older than her, and he barged in during the wedding and kill all the remaining royals but spare her on the account that she’ll live sucking his thing. She had always tried to be the support for him which is why I hated when he said those words when he asked her to choose.
What's chapter the last update?? Is this novel have exciting plot or shitty plot? Edit : so far i'm quite wary of Korean novel. Because at the begining it exciting the reader, after a while it have a tragedy plot, a turn event to a shitty plot which continue to bad ending or open ending. Make me traumatic to read Korean novel
Bah there's a "misunderstanding" tag on the novel. In the Korean site, I think it was also tagged with regretful characters? Pretty sure you have to pay to access the raws so I can't even MTL ;/ To my understanding he either hates her for her parents killing his parents or her almost going through with her forced marriage. Both reasons are retarded on a colossal scale, but this is an asian novel that romanticizes dubcon/noncon sex so I might not be too far off. On that note, I hope the story continues to update because my bored ass is desperate read whatever this is.
The last translated chapter is chapter 7. I didn’t even bother to look for the raw because Korean usually need you to pay. And the one with a 18++ tag required a Korean identity proof to open, which I don’t have. If you’re lucky to get a free raw, MTLing Korean is so much harder than Chinese, I can’t get it at all. Same with Japanese. As for the plot, so far it seems shitty, hahaha. But it’s only at 7, so will hang out a bit more, who knows it might actually developed into something good ^_^
