why did you stop reading JP novels.....?

  1. Super denseness of MC

  2. Annoying hypocritical MC characters

  3. Cliche plot and storyline

  4. Slow translation speed

  5. Truck-san

  6. Stupid Harem

    (this is clearly a cliche thread but, still)

    my reason of purging myself of these JP novel is.... The annoying, hypocritical, goodguy, dense MC's.
    they seriously creeps me out.....they repulse me.
    I hate em to the core...!!!!
    These hypocritical MC characters are too nice and good, even when the author tries to make them bad.... somehow they still always end up being he good guy with a annoyingly huge sense of justice.
    I hate em......!!!!

    You forgot that they make a harem and the girls are fighting over idiot who won't even fXXX them, and even most of the stupid thing: not killing enemies even if they killed everyone you know.

    Well, for me a dense protag isn't a problem, BUT IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH CLICHES (FALL IN LOVE AFTER HE SEE YOUR NAKED BODY, TSUNDERE, AND ETC.ETC) AND REPETITIVE STORYLINE, Meh, Get the hell out of my sight!!! At least, it will be served just as time filler for what i usually read

    Tropes like 'truck-san' are great if they are intriguing and well written. I couldn't even start reading JP novels with all of the lolis, bowing head in apology, and suffixes (-san, -sama, -hime, etc.). If I wanted to rot my brain then I'd start drinking... bleach? not sure that's the right chemical solution...

    MC whithout motivation (motivation to get stronger in fantasy / action / adventure novel)
    dense MC
    MC who doesn't kill the enemy even if the enemy is a killer and won't mind killing the MC
    MC who is always pushed around by girls (tsundere , childhood friend , and the mestyrious girl who shows up at chapter 1)
    yeah mainly jp MC
    heck even if the MC started out badass and evil there will be this justice ally girl who will miraculously make him so astonished that he will change and become a good person full of justice
    yeah as i said mainli japanese MC
