Hmm, in elementary my friend told me she was a witch and that she had seen my spirit animal in a dream. Apparently, it's a giant black widow. I have a feeling however, that I'm more like a Dodo. Specifically, what comes to mind is the scene with the watermelons in the first Ice Age movie.
Are you... discriminating birds from the rest of the animals? I understand if it were insects/animals, but... I think my spirit animal would be a tsunami of rotting rats. Yeah, I see myself as a plague meant to harm everyone's sanity including my own.

I was going to say a cat, but looking at myself objectively I am more of a bear. Sometimes lazy, especially when it's cold, but will get moving when I need to; prefer solitude, and if you get on my bad side watch out.
If insects count, mine would probably be a spider...? It's just I've been said to get really still sometimes. I don't move around very much and always look to do things efficiently so I don't waste any movement, but I'm not slow at doing anything either...I'm more or less normal, except for the fact that I become SUPER still sometimes. People say it's scary. Like one time when they fast forwarded a video where I was in the background standing still and watching them, they realized I didn't even move a muscle the whole time...only my eyes were moving from time to time and I had a soft smile on my face the whole time. The scariest thing was that...I was behind them standing still again while they were watching the video. lol I'm more or less a normal lazy person who does what he is told...except for this one habit where I sometimes suddenly stop any and all movement. (And not the kind where you just let go of your body and relax. It's more of a subconscious active effort to stay in one position. Like I've created a shell around myself in that place in that position, and if I move even a finger that fragile shell will break and I'll lose focus.) I feel like that's a really spider like thing to do, since they like being still so much. Or maybe lizards too. But I feel laziness goes well with spiders better. So I'm choosing spider.

Yeah, I didn't get it either. Maybe she thought spiders were cool? I'd have preffered something fluffy though..or maybe that's who I am truly on the inside...which would be depressing but wait, spirit animals are supposed to be a guide and can change throughout your life.. Also, I thought excluded was included In that case, I change my answer to a parrot.
