    Hi, I've been a lurker here for about a month. I have been writing for fun for a while but never publish it online. Recently came across a nice software/platform called Twine and get interested to create an Interactive Fiction or Text Based Game.

    This is my first ever public release of anything on the Internet, hopefully it would be entertaining to some of you. Please note that is a really really alpha (early draft), no completed path yet and most of the path stopped just before a fight, but I'm sharing it this early to get some feedback from the community, especially how to present text game fight.

    I will be posting the link in about half an hour. The reason I'm posting this opener first was to get a forum link for the game info. Link posted. 9

    Looks forward for your feedback folks. The game engine that I'm using doesn't have a spell checker, my apologies for the typos. Do let me know where they are.



    @moderator, please do let me know if this is not the right forum. I know it wasn't a normal novel but it is text heavy and it is Xian Xia, so the closest that I could think of was this subforum. Will change if necessary.

    Mode:
    • Normal - as name states normal playing mode
    • Debugging mode - allows you to see passage title at the bottom, unlock powered up start mode, you can also unlock this by playing normally after a few restart/death.
    • Power Mode: password = "powerrangers", enable more dialog/choice options
    • Overpowered Mode: enable even more options

    Nice response, I hope to meet some of your expectation. ;)

    Anyway, do note that since this is a time travel game, best to continue with death and or in-game restart rather than use the restart function from Twine\Sugarcube engine.

    It is html5 game engine, should be supported by modern browser. I mainly use chrome both on mobile and laptop, and they worked fine.

    Do let me know if any issues though. :)
