There is a maximum length that you can make use of copyrighted content. Not sure exactly how long as Ai-chan doesn't make AMV. Due to the new European law, if you properly credit the original owners, youtube will not be so quick to shoot you down. They can if the owners insist, but at least people will be less likely to report you.

That being said, not being a total tone-deaf can greatly reduce the chance of people reporting you. Nightcore is ear rape, so if you make faux nightcore (real nightcore is something else), the chance of you being reported is greatly increased.

Put the copyright infigment act link on the description and properly credit the owners or something. Not like YT gives a damn about what copy right gets thrown at them.
    Not full proof though.
I have seen to many YT channels getting their video's copy righted for stupid reasons like using a 5 second music from (____).

looks like you got hit for the music, not the anime. That's also what usually happens (since something like an amv or list or whatever is usually transformative enough + anime studios care less). tl;dr don't use copywritten music and you should be fine.
edit: also, some labels (like sony) will strike you while others will just take the money. any amvs you see on youtube that haven't been removed but have copywritten music were probably claimed by less aggressive music labels that didn't strike them down (so pick another song, lol)

The only way would be making your own music, getting specific permission from the rights holder or using open source music. Even still, you will most likely receive strikes and will have to protest them. It's mostly luck if you can avoid it or not.
People also use tricks, such as speeding music up, in order to avoid algorithmic detection. Not sure how they work, tho.

How about using royalty free music, not using other peoples content in your vids and no background music from video games.

Unfortunately, youtube’s Policy is to remove anything if they receive a complaint. Often times even if you can prove it’s not copyrighted, or that your using it under the free use clause YouTube will not help you. A huge number of content makers have had their videos bands for pictures or footage they shot themselves in a place that filming was legal. Just one person decided to complain and the videos went down and you tube never allowed them back up. So the only way to be sure your videos don’t get flagged is if you can be sure no one will complain about you.

Let’s just say that before you reach a million subscribers, YouTube isn’t going to give a damn about you or your content. Even last year, TheFatRat with 3.7 million subscribers had one of his OWN songs that he wrote and produced himself copyright striked. The people who submitted the claim didn’t even provide evidence, he made a whole video about how he had to try for a very long time to get rid of that copystrike on his own song despite having multi-million subscribers. So generally, Youtube doesn’t give a damn about you and only cares about the ad revenue.
Edit: also the song that got copyrighted is one of his most popular and iconic songs so that shows even more how Youtube doesn’t give a damn about you and has no idea who you are and what kind of content you make.

Make a 2nd account, and do a copyright claim on your own video, then another one can`t do a copyright claim on it !

There used to be a trick where if you have several copyrighted stuff in one video, the multiple claims would cancel each other out.

Maybe write in the description that you don't own the things in your video and that your video is for education?

It is also their poilcy to ban investigative journalism because it exposes Google wrong doings citing privacy claims. It is not even a susprising and just confirm nearly everyone suspect. Another reason why regulation of social media is eminent.

Youtube likes it corporate customers more than its individual users. So to avoid it, just use pornhub to avoid copyright claim.

I've heard of them doing that because of a less then 15 second sample mixed in to a song, I'm waiting for them to do more there since there are alot of songs with pieces of a beat or melody that can be argued cross over through songs (which honestly could have just happened because there are only so many notes used in music for certain instruments) and speaking of that there have been many songs over the years that got hit with suits because of that (having a sample of another song or just the same tune with new words or ...) so ya it's a slippery slope there ...
