    Hi peeps~~

So I'm planning to make my own youtube channel (and no, I'm not making youtube channel as my mainsource of income,I just make this channel to share these bunch of crazy ideas in my head),it will talk about anything that I like to do: unboxing toys I bought (from barbie doll, custom doll,pullip,integritytoys,nendoroid,figma,etc..),making miniature/diorama set for toy photography purpose+toy photography tips&trick, experimenting on making food from anime to life, and some easy cheap diy and clothing haul+tipstrick mixmatching for curvy girls

English is not my native language but I dont find any difficulty even if I have to speak English 24/7
    I'm Indonesian...

Do you think it will be difficult for viewers to understand if I speak in my nativelanguage and add subtitle? Cause most people find it easier to follow methods by listening while watching then practicing, rather than reading sub while watching and practicing at the same time

    Thanks

I usually do something at the same time, rather than completely focus on the Youtube Video I'm watching, especially if they're rather casual.
There is a certain charm to watching something in someone else's native language and reading the available subtitles...
But most people speak english around the world and so if you're aiming for a greater target audience, I would say do it in English. Some people can't be bothered to read much smh

    just be brave. . . .
    and do it. . .
welp alot of youtubers that hit nowadays are not pure english speakers. . .
but welp they just do the things they want. ..
just a reminder. . .it does not matter if it's slow. . .
just deliver it clearly word by word. . .
that's just for me is much nicer than those guys who really speak english language but they freaking eat their words when delivering it. . .

Who are your target viewers? If Indonesians, then native language, insert english here and there.
If your target is generally just any viewers out there, then english.

I think I am having trouble with my eyes today as I misread many things in that, like 'unboxing toys' as 'unboxing boys' or 'photography' as 'pornography'...
I won't be any help in this thread, it seems :blobamused:

If it's a hobby and to share ideas across the web, then English should be your choice. But of course, native language is also acceptable, since you're just making videos about your ideas and stuff.
