    Wow. QI really is an arrogant company. And I thought it was just with WW or the international market that they act dishonest. Looks like they really are rotten to the core. Glad WW got out and decided to fight back as soon as they felt the eerie breeze that QI brings. Sigh... Gravity...

    Qidian are well know assholes. They bully every site and steal their translator and even copy content that is not theirs. I hope Wuxia World sues them too. They deserve it that badly

    I heard that they were understating their profit margins in order to pay less taxes, pay their stock owners less, and pay their authors/employees less.

    That is with the assumption that every authority is a lying, thieving hypocrite.

    But the fact is, they aren't.

    It is in the interest of capitalism to reduce cost(s), and maximise profit(s).

    That includes tax evasion.

    That is why establishments often have ties to Caymans, Ireland, etc. For exactly tax evasion purposes. How its done? Accounting it in such an airtight manner that you can see the money, but you can't touch it.

    That's how the money are made.

    The title was retconned by the author. It's now called Monogatari series. The toothbrush scene was from Nisemonogatari, last arc, and also the second season of the Monogatari series. The first season was called Bakemonogatari.
