So I believe, could be said that the author abandoned the WN and write LN instead.

In the past I too create a python script to archive the novel from syosetsu.
At first I try Kansutoppu's script, but I don't like it because it's parsed the html page, not the official txt version.
I also try another version, but it's GUI, so it's rather hard to automate.
So I create one myself.

The advantage of my script is that you can automatically download the new chapter.
My script also downloads the official txt version, not the parsed HTML version.

The source code is available in GitLab and the package is listed in PyPI.
Searching with "Syosetsu Downloader" as keyword in Google should be sufficient.
(Sorry, my post cannot contains link yet.)

If anyone interested but having a hard time using my script, please tell me, I would be happy to help you.
The script is for my personal use, so there's no guide at all.
