It's amazing how I can skip dozens of chapters and still not miss anything. Ze Tian Ji would have been a nice 500 chapters read at most without prolonged flowery sentences and useless talking.

 

I hate flowery words

 

I like meatballsy words they taste great with cheese~

flowery words only used for confusing and twisting your intent which kinda make me sleepy~
unless it on politic and debate

 

I can't.. I just can't the profound and deep wordplay on this novel is so good that my braincells explode just comprehending each and every dialogue. Just like a cake it's sweet at first but after you eat the 2nd slice you feel like it's enough so I'm dropping this novel not because it's bad but my brain just can't take it anymore.

 

I now know why such a great novel has so little foot traffic.

 

I've recently catch up with the author other work, which is Nightfall and I really enjoyed it.

so, I can't help to gather interest in his other works which is ztj. many from the review page says it is really slow.

the question is, is ztj worth the time ?

tbh tho I've come to the point where I only read 2 novel from my reading list, most of them are dead. so it is only a matter of time to read ztj

 

Wait what? Did i miss something? Since when was the Divine Empress revealed to be the black goat?

 

Yeah that threw me off too. I know the black goat is special, but when did it become the Divine Empress? Also, who is that squirrel? Should be the same squirrel that causes trouble whenever the Empress is in the scene but who or what is that?
