Discussion Zhanxian Translations

What's up with the updates? There are two different teams that are translating it. While I do appreciate the translations, at least work together for the novel, make the release super fast. Or maybe I'm stretching it here.

 

They might be competing for that Qidian contract

 

One group machine translates everything and has terrible quality. The other is rough but much better than a machine translation.

 

The same thing happens to me with Common Sense of A Duke's Daughter.
The thing is that some readers' English is so bad that they can't tell the difference.
Some admit to having to using Google Translate to translate to Spanish for instance to be able to read properly

 

It's a bless if you have this level of english, because you can read on lnmtl any novels relatively easy and still have pleasure.

 

Both translators are wasting their time, it would be way better if they both worked together then we'd be getting double the updates with half the effort.. instead of both of them translating the same chapters, people are obviously gonna ditch the one translating the slowest even if they've got better quality.

From what i've seen the fastest translation isn't anywhere near the levels of machine translation on lnmt which is great.

 

You cannot mix Apple and oranges and say you are serving Oranges only
Your suggestion doesn't work in practice
You would most likely be the first to complain when character names changes or even style of translation changes
