Above a desolate lava filled landscape an otherworldly figure could be seen floating 12 meters in the air. She had pale white skin comparable to a sheet of paper and two horns shaped like a rabbits ears on her head.

This was Kaguya Otsutsuki the rabbit goddess, mother of the sage of 6 paths and apocalyptic threat which threatened to bring end to all life of the shinobi world.

But not all hope was lost, luckily the legendary progenitor of chakra Hagoromo Otsutsuki, better known by his epithet the sage of 6 paths did not stand idle against the threat of his Mothers resurrection and had somehow acted beyond death to grant 2 heroes an equal share of his power.

These 2 heroes one known by the name Naruto Uzumaki and the other Sasuke Uchiha, brothers through reincarnation and inheritors of Hagoromo's sons Indra Otsusuki and Asura Otsutuki stood as the last line of defense to save a world forsaken and trapped in an endless illusion.

''Sasuke you distract her with your susanoo blade while I charge up my Planetary Rasenshuriken!'' One hero Naruto yelled..

''Hn.'' The other hero Sasuke Uchiha replied in his typical uchiha language grunt of affirmation.

Suddenly a purple mist substance surrounded Sasuke only to contort and gain edges eventually shaping up into a 300m ethereal warrior with a blade and armor reminiscent of samurai. The titanic warrior unsheathed its blade and flung it making it appear to be in the shape of a spinning disk through sheer speed as it approached the rabbit goddess.

Kaguya did not stand idle and swung her fists repeatedly at otherworldly speeds forming a defensive vacuum through the pressure of grinding physical forces. ''80 Gods Vacuum Fists!''

''Susanoo blade!'' Yelled the 2 opposing forces simultaneously as blade struck the vacuum barrier only to be stopped dead as if frozen in time and be followed up by the most horrendous clanging noise which would surely destroy any mortal eardrums as sound finally caught up in speed.

''No way.. The Susanoo blade did nothing. On second thought.. Naruto now while she's distracted!'' Yelled Sasuke

Naruto just in time had finished charging up his signature move with extreme amounts of chakra and released it in the form of a ''Planetary Rasenshuriken!!'' as he flung it taking advantage of Kaguyas distracted state.

Kaguya being the arrogant goddess she is, the thought of a puny mortals attack touching her let alone harming her never occurred in her mind.

So even with her all-seeing eyes, the Byakugan she was too late to dodge by a inch of time and barely avoided being bisected by the Rasenshuriken which sliced off her arm instead.

Now this is where the difference between what was originally fated to occur and what will happen diverged.

Kaguya had previously looked down on her opponents and only intended to steal their chakra without killing them, never using the full potential of her power.

Having her arm cut off, immortal though she may be had given her a reality check causing her to take the battle more seriously.

She first realized the great potential of the infinite tsukuyomi and being connected to the collective knowledge of an entire WORLDS worth of memories and with it knowledge of every single chakra technique.

Kaguya quickly assimilated every useful jutsu and things like the shadow clone jutsu, the raikages lightning armor and even the simplest kawarimi (body object switch technique) became available to her.

The second aspect which changed fate was the lack of Kakashi and Sakura to help in this battle. Despite being weaker than Naruto or Sasuke they would both play a vital role in the defeat of Kaguya Otsutsuki and saving the world.

Unfortunately though in this timeline both Kakashi and Sakura had both previously passed away in the shinobi war..

All these events added up and turned into a butterfly effect which would change fate completely in a strange and unexpected way..

Kaguya quickly adapted to the countless jutsu and after having regenerated her lost arm (much to the horror and frustration of Naruto and Sasuke) performed a perfect sealless shadow clone jutsu resulting in 100,000s of clones blocking out the heavens in every conceivable direction.
''Holy Shit..'' Naruto and Sasuke both said simultaneously.
