The amount of likes that one has is directly proportional to the amount of likes that that person gives out...

You see, people like @brasca123 @Kuma Desu @Land Of Tea @Osamaru and @Shem give out likes crazily.

And, the ratio of likes:posts is high...

People like @erichninja are more stingy with likes and he has only 3000 likes with 2000 messages...

Hmmmm... It's not really forbidden to like old stuff, as long as you aren't really going after one person in particular or anything of the sort.

I once liked posts of threads that were months old just because I discovere their existence later for example.

But yeah, in general, just like what you like and you'll be fine, don't worry too much on who or what to like.

Hmmmmm... As for the people with lots of likes... I feel you're mistaken on the thing of giving likes easily you receive them easily... It's more along the lines of how active you are.

Tony-chan aside, almost everyone on the top of the likes is super duper active, our message count isn't on the 10000s because games and profile posts don't count.

It's more of a thing of being everywhere all the time, than of actually giving out likes... I mean, just on AG tavern, I think I have some 7k posts for example, a good chunk of my likes came from there.
