bro this is novel forum ._.

 

my point of view on it :
its a plan crafted by soeharto who in a sense imitated how hitler overthrow the government and create dictatorship government for himself, the only diferent was that he make it look like the country is a democratic one (he learned how hitler fail i gues) while in fact he forced more than 70% of the citizen to vote for him (or they will lose their job)... he also get support from western country who recognized his act and give him monetary support, i think since its in the coldwar timeline they prefer a weak fascist country than a country that support communist (which created by soekarno "front Jakarta - Phnom penh")... it's true that top millitary official get massacred (dont know by whom since the actual history is unclear, it can also be a plot to frame the communist party), but the fact that soeharto massacred the citizen by saying that they're part of the communist party after that was a lot worse... and what make it more worse was that the order that he claim he get from president soekarno was no where to be found (missing/theres no such order from the begining?)

note: can this thing also be categorized as political? or was it put on the history side?
