Hiding malicious intent behind a straight face, once an opportunity presented itself it would be impossible to guard against! Her words were pleasant to the ear - if not for suffering a big loss in a previous incarnation, just based on her words she would be incredibly inclined to follow it. Anyway context is missing but I assume that the MC was reincarnated and therefore knows that whoever is talking to her is a two-faced bitch who's setting up a trap for her, correct me if I'm wrong. Also I clicked on your site and there are way too many acronyms for all the stories.
