Discussion A novel with many chapters translated that would maker RPG

I was reading a novel and it hit me that the novel would have made a good jRPG type game. Is there any current novels where there are a group of character roaming the world fighting evil like tradition JRPGs. I feel like adapting a CN into a fan made RPG Maker game.

Appreciate any suggestions given.

 

If you want the mc fight evil then CN don't have many cause MC always become good or bad in CN so I recommend Japanese Novel. Like Tate no Yuusha or Danmachi or many of them.

Like a party of heroes / adventurers on a quest?

Honestly I basically can't think of any CN novel with any party at all. Maybe The Amber Sword?

 

Most novels that has a weak to strong theme would fit well into a system like this. Martial God Asura, Against the Gods etc. But honestly, you could make a better game is you just take a few elements from novels and give the player a little more freedom to roam and explore the world on their own instead of following a set plot.

 

Quite a number of CN novels have been made into mobile RPG-ish games.
