I'm on Ch.47. MC is likable and his personality makes sense seeing his age. But I'm really disliking the plot. Really seem copy of One Punch Man. I guess it would change later on.

And even though MC wanted to become superhero I hope it would be for himself and not for saving the world. As a kid saving the world is a good dream but I hope MC would become selfish as times goes on...it would feel more realistic. That's what I like about Chinese novels anyways. Protagonists usually don't care about others but only about themselves and their friends. Saving the world is boring.

 

I just loved the straight man act at the end of chapter 60. Seriously using shi xiaobai to convice shi xiaobai...

 

How is it like OPM? OPM is about Saitama being OP, with no one knowing that. And funny stuff revolve around that. In this story, no one is OP like Saitama. The core of the story is very different.

He definitely wants to 'save the world', but there are intricacies about that. Notice how he wanted to save Little Fatso at the beginning, it's just a kindness in his heart, and you know, just being a decent human being.

You will need to hit chapter 53 to understand his deeper motivations. He is a person who wants to help others if he can, especially his companions. The story is interesting because this story, his companions will grow with him, and he actively helps them achieve that.

There is a paragraph in the future that says if you have the ability to save someone, and they deserve to survive, by choosing not to save them, isn't that almost similar to murder? It's a philosophical question.

 

What I meant was that the general premise was similar to OPM (superhero organizations, threat levels, future apocalypse, etc). Of course as you said it might change later on. Xianxia also works on a general formula so I'm not complaining about originality but this novel reminded me of OPM in like almost every chapter and I'm not talking about One Pun character.

As for saving the world: I kind of like it when protagonists are not Saints and not start protecting everyone they can(which is often the case in xianxia/xuanhuan novels). I'm tired of pure hearted protagonists I guess. Marvel and DC characters tired me of saving the world/pure hearted MC with no selfishness.
