I just found out that they're gonna remove flash and all the old sites running with flash will probably stop working as well. Flash has its security flaws and they decided to drop it and just go with html and other stuff. They will do this by year 2020, though some browsers will enable the option of flash. for more: here
2020... 3 years might sound quite long but if you F5 NU regularly everyday... It will pass in a blink of eye
Adobe flash is one of those things called it is so fuu old but there is nothing to replace it. But oh well the world must move on.
Those security flaws! Why didn't I know about them, god dammit! I could've used them to my advantage, six years ago! Yeah, I rarely use flash.
That's troublesome for flash games... I'm annoyed by it. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. *shrugs*
By end of 2020 is over 3 years from now. By then the very few sites that use flash will be gone. Right now flash usage is only 6% of sites and I am more than willing to bet over 90% of that is ads. WebGL makes flash useless. It can do everything flash can and more.
> Nothing to replace it. It's surprising how many people don't know you can run Unreal Engine 4 in the browser since at least 2014 without a single third party plugin. HTML5 Canvas and WebGL, baby.
Yeah, PHP and VB too. People like to use broken tools just because "that's how they've always done it".
