http://bato.to/comic/_/comics/the-legendary-musings-of-professor-munakata-r11095 http://bato.to/comic/_/comics/the-case-records-of-professor-munakata-r17393 I like how the series tackle history by retelling it in another viewpoint. Now, many of the theories presented in this series are too far-fetched to actually believe in, but it was a good read nevertheless. Do you know of any other manga like this?
I like Ghosu for some reason or White epic, does that fit the criteria? Red storm is good too ah, mystery and Korean, the breaker the gamer, tower of god, noblesse, lms, dead days, orange marmalade...
Try to read Memories of Emanon and the sequel, Wandering Emanon The first one got historical vibe in it and I personally like it. Well, these two is not rly relevant to what You've asked but, give it a chance. Edit: I remember a novel about a bookstore that tells us the tales of ancient books.. I forgot the title lol, will edit later if I remember it.
Thanks for your suggestions. @SomeDude from the description and comments, I somehow get this feeling that I'd be hearing Sean Bean reading a narrative to me, with "Sogno di Volare" as background music. "From the first stirrings of life beneath water... to the great beasts of the Stone Age... to man taking his first upright steps, you have come far. Now begins your greatest quest: from this early cradle of civilization on towards the stars." And because this is a manga (plus I almost always play as a naval power)... "The great wave of Buddhism follows you, Shikken of Japan, Hojo Tokimune. Your people truly understand what it is to practice balance, and even your finest samurai will be well-learned and spiritually apt. Be strong, embrace the divine wind, and you will reach enlightenment."
