Just finished first year of College, and I'm starting to lose interest in reading web novels. Most of them out there are mostly directed towards teens and after maturing up a bit, I just don't have the same thrill and passion for Chinese/Korean/Japanese novels as I did back when I first started reading. So just wondering if anyone else was going through the same thing.

Sure, passion cools down, but then you start to appreciate the good ones much much more.

This novels are practicly my tv. T.V bores me to sleep most of the time.

You might be interested in The King's Avatar. It has more mature elements in it and it deals with real life

I feel the same going into my first year of college. I find that the only novels im following are korean novels and a smattering of more mature chinese novels. Ive given up on japanese light novels a long time ago.

When I'm dead and loving it. Doesn't mean I'll come back to life if I don't like being dead, though.

All things in moderation. Sometimes you need a break to get back in it. Overall though, as you get older and it becomes harder to move around, things like relaxing reading here and there might be just the thing.

What he said, you really grow tired of some templates, but as we grow older we get to appreciate another more profound or emotional side of the stories that we didn't notice or didn't care when we were kids or teens, for example: Avatar the last Airbender I know it's not a novel, but it's just for arguments sake, now, when I watched the first time I loved for it's comedy and realistic fighting, but rewatching now that I'm 20 I can see the characters conflicts their emotions the whys behind the actions and that makes it that much better.

As long as there are people willing to translate good novels I'll read them whenever I can.

whenever I die and reincarnate in another with a cheat lol

    *Edit*
Oh I just had a thought...... What if there was a web novel with the title being something like: "I'm addicted to web novels so much that my gifted other-world transport ability became one"
or like: "Story teller in another world is actually just a web novel addict"
    ...just throwing it out there

When I've got enough of a life to not like light wish-fulfillment reading any more.

I've never stopped reading since I learned how to so I don't think that I'll ever stop. So I guess it will be as long as the kinds of books I want to read show up as web novels. This encompasses pretty much the entire range of Chinese fiction, so it's probably going to be forever. I can see myself dropping Japanese web novels as long as they're stay being entry-level otaku fare though.

Hmmmmmm... I doubt I'll stop, my tastes haven't changed much in the last 8 years or so.

The amount I read dropped quite drastically though, mostly because of time than anything.
