Spoiler Best and Worst Novel Endings

Well I will agree with saying"Journey is worth more that the ending",it's brutal truth that if a gem of a novel doesn't receive an equally awesome ending,a sour taste is left instead of satisfaction in our mouths.Without further beating around the bush,I would like to know what in your opinion are best and worst novel endings of the novels you have completed.

But so far CD didn't disappoint me on it's ending

Though Shura's Wrath Ending is quite rushed, it's still Good. As for A step into the past, The ending is good but reading this novel makes me able to tolerate and at the same time increase my Hate to NTR.

CD is well, It's "IT'S NOT ENOUGH! I WANT MORE" Ending, I want linley to go in other realm and see him create his own Universe.

Well, if we talk about Chinese novels, I've only completed CD and ST, and I can't say about either of them that they're either 'best' or 'worst'. They were both disappointing, but it could have been much worse. There's not enough completed novels as of yet...

 

Imperial Princess accidentally seduces her Husband has a pretty terrible ending imo. Has pretty bad ratings on Nuf too.

Worst ending for any novel I've completed would be for Zhan Long. That shit was just bad.

 

Haha if your planning on reading zhan long dont read the last 20 chapters, its trash literally lmao he thinks he's some hero who has an obligation to the world.

 

Agree, it should ended with her divorcing & leaving him or with him being killed by his concubine.

 

Worst?

Sovereign of Three Realms. Trust me. I finished raw.
The ending destroys the whole story. Even WTF can't comprehend its ending.

Second nominated : Cult of Sacred Rune. It comes second because the ending just a bit worse than the whole story.

Close Combat Mage, Child Of Light co-third as the story are already that worst.

CD and ST are just the 'ordinary' bad ending guys. Nothing worth being mentioned.


As for the best. <sigh>.
For now, only World Of Cultivation can pass through the final 10s with My Disciple Died Yet Again. With 2 of 10 .. <sigh>

I think CD and ST are good novels, yet bad at the same time. The ending does not feel like an ending, more like a continuation to another story arc. It's just cliffhanging. I'm wondering what happens next then I'm told that's the end. The only novels that have the best endings are "To Be A Virtuous Wife" & "A Slight Smile is Very Charming."

 

I agree, Undefeated War of God was horrible.

After that battle he(team) owned everything in sanctuary. After portal opened, they've cleaned up the rest of zodiac.
There isn't anything worth writing after that battle. some cleaning up, maybe joining all the stars into single place. Boring...
