I just started Civilization 3 ( Complete Edition) after a long time, and I am getting Font error - code 28.

I looked on Google and tried renaming LSANS.FOT file to something else as many forums suggested .But the problem is, I cant seem to find a LSANS.FOT file. LSANS.TFF file is there, but no FOT file.

Forum Link (one of such forums)

The game is retail bought and is not connected to steam or something. Its running on Windows 10 ( I have played CIV3 on Windows 10 and on the same laptop several times in the past, so no OS error or Specs error).

As far as I remember, I have not changed any settings or such in my laptop.I can't be sure if some update or something has messed up the settings.

So any idea, what can I do about it?

I do have LSANS font in my PC. Regarding LSANS.FOT file, I can't seem to find in on net or anywhere else.

lol you should restart your pc/laptop whenever you install something 'cause some of the registry might not work properly without doing it
