Discussion Coping with only 12 Glasses of Strawberry Daiquiri. For those who are fit to be considered old.

A little background, me and my gf Waiwai came to a nudist resort several days ago. We do normal stuff, watch people do normal stuff, while in the nude. And everyone has been so nice, no touching at all without permission. Sure, we still got picked up, but we told them we were lesbians and they were cool with it. We even played table tennis with the guys who tried to pick us up but Waiwai totally sucks at it because of the volume of her tits. Well anyhow, due to work, Waiwai had to go back to China, and since I don't feel like going home yet, I'm staying here for a couple more days.

Now back to last night. I was drinking alone at the resort's only bar and watching naked people do normal things when some guys came and bought me drinks. As per my usual, I only drank strawberry daiquiri. I really dislike the taste of beer and any variance of vodka just doesn't sit well with my stomach. Like usual, I accepted, because why not? Their loss. It's free alcohol and I can't get drunk.

Surprisingly, last night, for the first time ever, my vision started getting unfocused at the 10th glass. At the 12th glass, the whole world was spinning for me. And I had to ask for help to take me to my room. I passed out the moment my head hit the mattress.

This was a first.

I never passed out from the 12th glass. Never ever. I usually drink more than this without feeling anything. 5 years ago, my record was 25 glasses of strawberry daiquiri in one night, with pauses and toilet breaks. But last night, I got defeated at the 12th glass.

I can only attribute it to aging. My liver doesn't seem to be able to process as much as it used to. I can't even drink coffee or mocha now without feeling dizzy after the 3rd cup. Ai chan seems to be getting old. I bet soon I'll start feeling osteoporosis.

To guys who take pride in being old, how do you cope with your increasingly advanced age? Is it giving you any problem in your daily lives?

well after i got in a few "accidents" years ago i did stop with all alcohol so i don't know
so just don't drink and you will be fine

Me too. Up until yesterday, I've never even once got drunk. The only reason I stopped drinking at 25th glass 5 years ago was because my tongue was totally numb from the strawberry daiquiri and I saw no point in continuing to drink when I couldn't enjoy it anymore.

A few years back, i went to a party with a couple of friends, and drank like 4-5 glasses of whiskey, because i've drunk more ( when i was younger ).

The thing is that i can`t remember sh!t after i got up from my chair, so ... I've been decreasing the amount i drink at all events, i drink one glass with my friends, but i stop at the first one, regardless of what they say !

 

That's strange because if you are used to drinking alcohol, age wouldn't really be a factor for your sobriety and drunkeness. Unless you are too old. It's either it's been a long time since you got that drunk or the alcohol is just too strong and you never noticed it.

 

then she gotta get herself checked for drugs with blood test and if it comes back positive, a police report and possibly the plan b pill (unless she's against that)

 

Contrary to what all novels say, when drinking with unknown males, the chance for them to spike your drink is NOT 100%
It's lower than 5% chance so ...

 

u probably only had beer or cheap wine or something, try something really fruity so its sweet or really really smooth vodka or rum that u just swallow really quickly

 

I guess that may be true. After all, in my country, alcohol is extremely expensive and since I'm Malay, many establishments do not dare serve me alcohol. So you may be right in saying it's been a long time since I drink, because the last time I drank was like more than half a year ago, like back after school reunion party.

I don't know what a plan b pill is. Yes, I agree, you can't go wrong with rum, and therefore, I recommend strawberry daiquiri, my favourite! But men say cocktails are for girls, so I don't know. I don't think it's anything worth worrying your manhood over.

I've only ever drunk wine before. After the first few times, I never drank alcohol again. It's bitter and it doesn't go with milk.

Ah... I'm getting older but my drinking choices remain the same.
