Why It Should Get Picked Up: This novel is arguably better than its predecessor Douluo Dalu 1 (personally, I'm of this opinion ) which many already consider a masterpiece in its genre, and for sure it has a lot more depth and better storyline than its sequel Douluo Dalu 3 (Legend of the Dragon King) which has also been picked up here in NU.

It used to be translated by CookiePasta Translations, but their last release was back in November.
EDIT : I double checked on their site, they had already posted a notice that they're dropping the series as of December due to time constraints.

Hopefully someone could pick this up. Personally, I've read the whole thing through MTL and it sucks for me that other people can't properly appreciate this gem because there is quite a bit more set up in this story than Douluo Dalu 1 and the translations haven't gotten to where things really start going. The irony in this for me is that in my opinion the author took more time and effort on this book, but because of this there are more people giving it less than stellar reviews due to the MC not really shining from the very get go.

Hmm...DD2 is indeed better than DD1. However, DD3 is the best! All hail terrorist attacks!

 

I personally like it more than DD but that's cause I like brother daydream and Yuhao more than Tang San. I like the abilities more too. Other than that, the stories are about equally as solid.

 

DD2 has a much better romance plot line, the background of the other S7D were also explored (albeit some can be explored more in depth. cough cough Cigarette guy) in comparison to that of DD1 S7D. I feel the couple in DD2 are stronger overall (Wutong is almost as strong as Yuhao, if not more while Tang San is heads and above Xiao Wu). Idk man, DD2 made me feel Yuhao's despair while DD1 kinda felt anticlimactic.

 

Well, having almost twice the chapters than it's predecessor does help.

 

Tang San and Xiao Wu are adorable and so is Yuhao and Wang Dong. I like the crazy enemies in DD like the Pontiff and her daughter and I like how in DD2, instead of just spirit hall as the enemy, everyone is a possible enemy. I like most is how unlike Tang San who's perfect in every way and never fails, Yuhao basically lives in weakness and gets by off of hardwork

 

Well, Tang San's character is based on the premise that he had already failed in his past life. Therefore, its not like he will fail again. Tang San does fail, fail in saving Xiao Wu and he almost failed himself when he practically lost confidence in the BSG. Yuhao fails more often that Tang San because he starts as a clean slate.

What I like the most about Douluo Dalu 2 is that Tang Jia San Shao repeatedly mindrapes Yuhao.

There are numerous instances of this but the worst one was near the end. Juzi extracted Yuhao's semen to impregnate herself. He was literally forced into adultery and Tang Wutong ran away.
