I just wanna know but has anybody heard of the webdrama adaptation for Hilarious Pampered Consort: Lord I Will Wait for Your Divorce written by Fan Que called The Eternal Love. I just found out like 5 minutes ago but apparently it's played by Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie in the female and male leads. EDIT: Some other novel-to-drama adaptations: Bride Of the Water God Our Glamorous Time The Legend of the Concubine’s Daughter Ming Lan Heavy Sweetness, Ash-like Frost Imperial God Emperor(?) The King's Avatar Wu Dong Qian Kun General Is Above, I Am Below Faithful to Buddha, Faithful To You Do you know any other drama adaptations that are coming out this year?
I saw that one too and Viki just got the license to start subbing. So far, up to ep. 12. I think it has a lot of issue, like a lot. But perhaps, they were low on budget. I didn't hear it from my normal Chinese drama online community. I just came across it browsing YouTube. But for what they lack, I'm laughing so much in some scenes. Princess agent didn't get me laughing at all. Most Chinese series isn't funny, even though they seem to have a big budget from how much details they can put in the background. I'm getting use to the acting, letting it slide, because of the comedy here n there. At first, I didn't like FL's acting at all. ML looks like he's trying too hard. Supporting actors r unconvincing. I think I have some issue with their blinking or something. Like these untimely blinking, that I feel just doesn't suit whatever feeling they r trying to convey across. I saw some of these in Legend of Chusen too. But the comedy allows me to forgive what flaws I see. The extreme lightening is annoying, though. I think this series didn't get that much attention because they didn't get play by those high pay actors and actresses. I'm assuming the budget is low for this too. All just assumption. But I thought China bans tranmigration to the past China era or something. The movie adaption also took on a different route or so I think. The novel wasn't even 1/3 translated. But I did notice changes here n there in the beginning.
I don't really use Viki because of all the ads. I usually use Dramacools.io or 4uDrama.com or others. Me too. Many scenes are so funny and although they did change it up a bit but the idea is still there and I find it really light and enjoyable. Have you read the novel?
I read all the translated chapters. So far, it sounds like the novel was dropped and no one has yet pick it up.
